Panoramic image utilities...

So I've got
a bunch of images that I'd like to stitch together and form a sort of panoramic view. They're all JPEG images. I know I can do this in Photoshop, but surely there's a much, much easier way. Preferably for OSX, but I've got an XP laptop (with 192M, mleh) I can use as well.

Found the Phillips DVP642 online, bought it. Supposedly works great with DiVX. Before that I picked up a Canon Digital Rebel DSLR, which I really, really like. And two eyepieces for my telescope, Celestron 10mm and 30mm Ultimas.
